This last week in Milwaukee has been barely bareable. Wisconsin residents have been feeling the frigid cold WAY more than we'd like. In fact, last week I don't believe there was a day above 0 degrees F with windchill. This polar vortex weather has me wishing for warmer days. Warmer days mean fresh fruits, which to me translates to fruit pies. This past Turkey Day I went a little pie crazy and found this lovely recipe for Key Lime pie. I've used this recipe 3x since my first attempt and have had raving reviews for it on each occasion. It might not be the right time of the year for such a pie -- but really, is there ever a bad time for pie?
Enjoy this simple and delicious recipe! P.S. My picture came out pretty fugs - so picture below is c/o Gimme Some Oven.
